Description

JACKSUN NOVA 309L is a rutile-coated stainless steel electrode conforming to AWS A5.4 E309L-16. It is specially designed for dissimilar welding (carbon steel/low alloy steel to stainless steel), buffer layers, and stainless overlays. The low carbon content (L grade) minimizes the risk of intergranular carbide precipitation and improves corrosion resistance in service at elevated temperatures.
