AWS A5.4: E316L-16

JACKSUN NOVA 316L is a rutile-coated stainless steel electrode conforming to AWS A5.4 E316L-16 and EN ISO 3581-A E 19 12 3 L R 12.

Specially designed for welding AISI 316L stainless steels (low carbon version of 316).
The low carbon (L grade) reduces the risk of intergranular carbide precipitation, ensuring excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion even in service at elevated temperatures.
Contains 2–3% Mo for superior pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chloride-bearing environments.
Recommended for chemical plants, marine industries, pulp & paper mills, pharmaceutical equipment, and food/beverage processing.(As per AWS A5.4 E316L-16 / EN ISO 3581-A E 19 12 3 L R 12)
