Description

JACKSUN ULTRA 818 P1 is a low-hydrogen, iron powder-coated electrode designed for high-strength pipe welding applications. Optimized for root, fill, and cap passes in cross-country pipelines, boilers, pressure vessels, and structural steels. Excellent mechanical properties, crack resistance, and low hydrogen diffusivity for API 5L X60–X80 grade pipe steels. Produces smooth, dense welds with fine ripples and easy slag removal. Specifically engineered for welding P1 group steels as per ASME Section IX.(As per AWS A5.5 E8018-P1 / EN ISO 2560-A E 55 5 B 32 H5)
