Description

JACKSUN NOVA 2209 is a rutile-coated duplex stainless steel electrode conforming to AWS A5.4 E2209-16 and EN ISO 3581-A E 22 9 3 N L R 26. Designed for welding duplex stainless steels such as UNS S31803 (2205), S32205, and similar grades. Weld metal provides a balanced ferrite–austenite (50/50) structure, ensuring high strength, toughness, and superior stress corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance. Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-bearing environments due to higher Cr, Mo, and N content. Used widely in oil & gas, chemical processing, desalination plants, pulp & paper, and marine industries.(As per AWS A5.4 E2209-16 / EN ISO 3581-A E 22 9 3 N L R 26)
