Description

JACKSUN NOVA 430 is a basic-coated stainless steel electrode conforming to AWS A5.4 E430-15 and EN ISO 3581-A E 17 R 26. Designed for welding 17% Cr ferritic stainless steels (AISI 430, 442, 446 types). Produces welds of ferritic structure, resistant to oxidation, scaling, and corrosion in mild environments. Weld metal is air hardening – preheating (150–250°C) and post-weld tempering are recommended to avoid cracking. Used in applications such as furnace parts, exhaust systems, nitric acid plants, and decorative stainless steel structures.(As per AWS A5.4 E430-15 / EN ISO 3581-A E 17 R 26)
