Description

JACKSUN NOVA 316LF is a rutile-coated, low-carbon, niobium-stabilized stainless steel electrode, conforming to AWS A5.4 E316L-16 (Nr.) and EN ISO 3581-A E 19 12 3 Nb L R 12. Specially designed for welding AISI 316L stainless steels, where improved resistance to intergranular corrosion is required in the as-welded condition. The niobium stabilization prevents carbide precipitation at grain boundaries, even under severe operating conditions. Excellent performance in chloride-rich environments, offering superior pitting resistance compared to standard 316L. Recommended for chemical processing, fertilizers, marine structures, desalination plants, and food/pharma equipment.(As per AWS A5.4 E316L-16 (Nr.) / EN ISO 3581-A E 19 12 3 Nb L R 12)
