AWS A5.4: E2594-16

JACKSUN NOVA 2594 is a rutile-coated, super duplex stainless steel electrode, classified under AWS A5.4 E2594-16 and EN ISO 3581-A E 25 9 4 N L R 26.
Specially developed for welding super duplex stainless steels (UNS S32750 / S32760 / S32707).
Provides very high tensile strength and excellent impact toughness.
Designed for critical service environments: seawater, chloride-bearing solutions, and highly aggressive chemical plants.
Ensures a balanced ferrite-austenite structure in the weld deposit.
PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) > 40–45, much higher than standard duplex and even higher than E2593.(As per AWS A5.4 E2594-16 / EN ISO 3581-A E 25 9 4 N L R 26)
