JACKSUN NOVA 312

AWS A5.4: E312-16

JACKSUN NOVA 312 is a rutile-coated stainless steel electrode conforming to AWS A5.4 E312-16 and EN ISO 3581-A E 29 9 R 26.

  • Designed for welding dissimilar steels (stainless steel to carbon steel, stainless steel to low alloy steels).
  • Exhibits very high strength, crack resistance, and ductility due to high ferrite content.
  • Commonly used for repair welding of difficult-to-weld steels, including high carbon steels, tool steels, and stainless castings.
  • Provides a smooth arc, minimal spatter, and easily detachable slag.
  • Suitable for buffer layers before hardfacing and for applications requiring high crack resistance.(As per AWS A5.4 E312-16 / EN ISO 3581-A E 29 9 R 26)
