Description

JACKSUN NOVA 316L is a low-carbon stainless steel solid wire suitable for MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding.

  • Designed for welding 316L and 316 stainless steels.
  • Low carbon (L-grade) minimizes the risk of intergranular corrosion.
  • Excellent corrosion resistance in chloride environments and acidic media.
  • Particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion due to the presence of molybdenum (Mo).
  • Stable arc, smooth bead finish, and minimal spatter.
  • Recommended for chemical plants, marine applications, offshore structures, and food/pharmaceutical equipment.
