AWS A5.4: E318-16

JACKSUN NOVA 318 is a rutile-coated stainless steel electrode conforming to AWS A5.4 E318-16 and EN ISO 3581-A E 19 12 3 Nb R 12.

Niobium (Nb) stabilized 18Cr–12Ni–3Mo type electrode.
Provides excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and pitting in chloride-bearing environments.
Suitable for welding AISI 316, 316H, 316Ti stainless steels where stabilization against carbide precipitation is required.
Commonly used in chemical plants, marine applications, paper & pulp industry, and fertilizer equipment.
