AWS/ASME: A5.9 ER385

JACKSUN NOVA 385 is a stainless steel solid wire designed for MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding.
It is the recommended filler metal for welding alloy 904L and similar high-alloy austenitic stainless steels.
Excellent resistance to corrosion in strong oxidizing and reducing acid solutions (such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid).
High resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and intergranular corrosion.
Produces weld deposits with good toughness and ductility.
Suitable for welding dissimilar stainless steels and as a buffer layer.
